Now that I’m pushing thirty
it’s clear I am the sturdiest
I’ve ever been, now a wordy-smith
hoppin in, you ain’t saying shit.
Punk music ain’t paying it.
I’m not ok with faking it.

No problem, I know my brain is fit.

And this game is rigged
and it’s a shame that with
the fame and shit,

we could improve
striking so few
are paying their dues.

When given a platform
they act like it’s bad form,
to dig deep and transform,
to dig up a sandstorm,
but my voice it can pour

turns out he’s a dick
doesn’t bother me.
Mind sick, anti-democracy,
but we don’t get to pick
how our genius be.
